DURDU GURDAL LIVESTOCK R&D CENTRE (CATTLE DAIRY AND FATTENING BUSINESS)
Durdu Gürdal Animal Husbandry Research and Development Centre, which carries the name of our founder and aims to direct animal husbandry in the context of scientific studies such as animal husbandry, nutrition, health, general management, has been established as an enterprise free of disease with EU approval certificates.
Established on 150,000 square meters of land, we have dairy cattle, calves, heifers and fattening calves. In our own business we produce roughage feeds such as alfalfa, corn silage and vet.
In our R&D centre, we test our feeds which we have made or newly developed in our factory by our agricultural engineers and veterinarians who have been in the industry for many years. After conducting researches on dairy and fattening performances, animal health and nutrition methods, we offer them to the use of our producers. We measure the total amount of bacteria, somatic cells and aflatoxin from dairy cows in our farm and produce dairy according to the EU standards. By measuring the dairy and fattening performances of Holstein cattle breeds, which is predominantly found in our farm, we aim to produce higher quality dairy and healthy animals without sacrificing quality.
